Call to Artists - Extended Deadline
The donkey sculpture project has its roots in the memories of the many people that enjoyed the sight of grazing donkeys along Brodie Lane at the Weaver Ranch. While the ranch is now fully developed into a combination of retail, restaurants, homesteads and protected green spaces, many people still ask about the donkeys. The Arts Commission of Sunset Valley hopes to bring sculptural representations of these wonderful animals to our city for the public to enjoy. Thus, the beginning of this pursuit with the Spirit of the Donkey Project.
